Dr Disrespect explains what it would take for him to return to Call of Duty: Warzone

YouTube streamer Dr Disrespect, who previously pledged never to play Call of Duty: Warzone, says what it would take for him to come back.

Dr. Disrespect is well known for being reactionary in its broadcasts. Part of the YouTube streamer’s character is being a prototype “angry gamer,” frustrated when he loses and arrogant when he wins. It’s no surprise then that Dr Disrespect has previously given up Call of Duty: Warzone several times, only to come back soon after. Last week was no different, with Dr Disrespect opening his stream with Call of Duty: Warzone and quit right away. “I may never play Caldera again,” was Dr. Disrespect He would later be asked what it would take to bring him back.

“I don’t ever want to play Caldera again,” is how Dr Disrespect characterized his frustration with Call of Duty: Warzone at the time. He had a pretty significant caveat to that statement, however. He would go on to say that he won’t be playing Caldera again, at least until the start of next season, so he can “capitalize on the ratings” that comes along. This is just a touch of insight into why Dr. Disrespect keeps coming back to Call of Duty: Warzone despite his hatred for Caldera.

Although his first explanation is a joke, Dr. Disrespect later provided a more serious answer to what might bring him back to the Call of Duty: Warzone. The YouTube streamer was asked if he would return if the map was changed back to Verdansk. Dr Disrespect responded in the affirmative, reconfirming that he hates Caldera.

Dr Disrespect has focused heavily on Apex Legends lately, as he grew more and more frustrated with Call of Duty: Warzone. The exact reasons why Dr. Disrespect doesn’t like War zone so much seems to change with every answer he has to the question. Just in this lonely stream, he talks about not liking Caldera’s balance, his weapons, and even his “fiction”, saying he doesn’t want to play a WWII game in 2022.

However, while Dr. Disrespect has plenty of criticism for Call of Duty: Warzone, he also continues to return to the game over and over again. This is not to say that your frustration with Call of Duty: Warzone is counterfeit, although it may be exaggerated. He also understands that Call of Duty: Warzone is a very popular game with a large audience. Playing it once in a while is profitable.

The performance is the fun of watching Dr Disrespect. Your audience likes your overreactions to games. But the criticism of Dr. Disrespect is also valid and reflects the opinions of a significant number of battle royale players. It’s part of the reason Activision is already looking to launch Call of Duty: Warzone 2 sooner or later.

Call of Duty: Warzone is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
