Elon Musk denies claims he exposed himself to the flight attendant and offered to buy her a horse

Billionaire Elon Musk has denied sexually harassing a flight attendant after reports he exposed himself on a private jet flight to London in 2016.

Tesla’s chief executive has rejected “wild accusations” published by Internal, as “totally false”, adding, “That never happened”. He also joked that the reports should be dubbed “Elongate”.

The business news outlet reported that Musk paid a flight attendant $250,000 to settle a sexual misconduct complaint against him.

According to the report in Internalthe attendant accused Musk of exposing himself to her, rubbing her leg without consent, and offering her a horse if she would give him an erotic massage.

The flight attendant was working as a contracted cabin crew member on Space X’s private jets at the time.

The news outlet reportedly saw a statement, provided by a friend of the flight attendant, in support of their claim.

In the statement, the friend said the attendant had confided in her after the alleged 2016 incident.

According to the friend’s comments, the flight attendant was invited by the Tesla founder to come to his room during a flight for “a full-body massage.” She arrived to find Musk “completely naked except for a sheet covering the lower half of his body”, according to the allegations.

It was supposedly during the massage that Musk exposed himself to her and offered to buy her a horse.

Musk told the publication that the story was a “politically motivated hit piece”. Responding to a request for comment, he sent an email asking for more time and said there was “a lot more to this story.”

He continued: “If I were inclined to engage in sexual harassment, it is unlikely to be the first time in my entire 30-year career that it has come to light.”

After the attendant submitted a complaint to HR, Musk resolved the complaint with a payment of $250,000, Internal reported.

In a series of posts about twitter after the story was published, Musk said, “The attacks on me must be viewed through a political lens – this is the standard (despicable) manual – but nothing will stop me from fighting for a good future and your right to free speech. ”

He added: “And for the record, these wild accusations are totally false.”

“But I have a challenge for this liar who claims his friend saw me ‘exposed’ – describe just one thing, anything (scars, tattoos,…) that is not known to the public. She won’t be able to do that, because it never happened,” he said.

He also joked that “finally, we can use Elongate as a scandal name,” adding, “It’s kind of perfect.”

Musk is currently negotiating a $44 billion deal to buy social media giant twitter. He recently tweeted that the deal “cannot go forward” unless twitter confirms its claims that less than 5% of daily users are fake or spam accounts.
