Developer People Can Fly announced that the Outriders: Worldslayer expansion will launch on June 30, adding new Apocalypse Tiers, PAX Class Trees, endgame content and more.
Outriders Next Expansion Worldslayers will be released on June 30
Outriders Worldslayer is a paid expansion that will launch on June 30th. No new classes or weapon types have been announced so far with Worldslayer, but instead it will focus on the level system, adding Apocalypse difficulty levels.
All Outriders players will be able to access the first 15 levels of Apocalypse, however levels 25-40 will be exclusive to those who own the Worldslayer expansion. Higher levels mean higher rewards, earning higher level gear up to 75, as well as earning Apocalypse items.
Items dropped in Worldslayer will also have a chance to drop an Apocalypse item which has a third mod slot, set to enhance the player’s skills and give more combinations to choose from. Players will be limited to just swapping one of three potential mods on their armor. Each class is getting two new Legendary Sets and several Legendary Weapons, which will make some major changes to the build with Worldslayer.
PAX class trees are new skill trees available for players to use their special skill points that come with the new expansion. The tree gives more bonuses to classes, giving you more options to customize buildings or even specialize.
The Ascension system will work similarly to Diablo where players use the Paragon system. Outriders will have post-max level options to improve stats through Ascension and will set a long-term system according to People Can Fly. It can take around 360 hours for players to go through all the unlocking options from us.
For those new to Outriders for the first time, Worldslayer offers a recovery option with a level 30 boost that can be used as many times as players want and can even boost other classes to reach final levels.
Worldslayer is ready to deliver hours of campaign content, new regions to explore, and much more. A new endgame activity was also promised by the developer, which will be revealed closer to the release date of the expansion by People Can Fly.
In case you missed it, Outriders launched in April 2021 as a drop-in-drop-out co-op shooter set in the dark sci-fi world of Enoch. Action-RPG offers intense shooter combat with options to go solo or team up with up to two other players.
Outriders is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Steam and Stadia. Worldslayer will be released on June 30th. Go through our Outriders wiki for all the latest information.
