Roy Keane gives hilarious advice to Jack Grealish after Manchester City win

Jack Grealish was in a good mood after receiving his Premier League champions medal, the kind of mood to get into some serious post-season celebrations.

The Manchester City player joined Sky Sports pundits Gary Neville, Jamie Redknapp, Micah Richards and Roy Keane for a post-match interview, with the latter giving the Englishman some rather hilarious guidance.

When asked what advice he would give Jack Grealish after his team’s 3-2 win over Aston Villa, the Manchester United legend made a hilarious joke.

He replied, “Stay away from the top shelf, keep the beer.”

The response left Grealish and the rest of the panel in stitches, however the £100m man insisted he had no intention of taking it easy.

When asked if that was the plan, Grealish replied, “Not for the next three nights. No way. Maybe four.”

It’s clearly gearing up for some big post-season celebrations for the Premier League’s first ever winner.

Perhaps going against his usual stern demeanor, Keane asked Grealish to have some fun after a tremendous season at City.

Keane said, “You like Jack, you do. Why not. Fantastic, well done.”

Grealish did not take the field against his former club in the final game of the season, a game that featured yet another story of Manchester City’s comeback on the final day to win the league title.

It was a dramatic final day that saw City drop from two goals to three in five minutes, with the final goal coming from Ilkay Gundogan in the 81st minute.

Grealish contributed three goals and three assists throughout the season and joined the celebrations for his first Prem medal since his big move.

Roy Keane, on the other hand, wasn’t having much fun as the former United captain found himself in the midst of City’s celebrations.

Former City defender and Sky Sports teammate Micah Richards was captured having the time of his life celebrating with the City team.

Roy Keane has obviously found himself in better situations, remarking sarcastically, “It’s great to be here. Fantastic.

When Richards and Grealish hugged each other and confirmed they were going to town together, the City player caused hysteria by extending the invitation to Roy Keane.

Despite the banter, Keane praised Grealish in his post-game comments.

Keane said: “I think he will be better next year.

“Jack is still learning… it takes time to adjust when you come to a bigger club.”
