Skyrim Player makes realistic version of Cicero

The Dark Brotherhood is one of Skyrim’s most interesting quests, and a player recreates one of its most prominent figures.

More than ten years have passed since The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim hit the shelves, and it still seems to be going strong. As a game that players can dive into for hundreds of hours, it can take a long time to finally see and do everything possible. And that’s before anyone starts using mods to expand it even further. In addition, fans love to tweak the game’s visuals or create new interpretations of the epic RPG’s assets, which include some of the game’s most notable characters.

GAMERANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

In an image sent to the Skyrim subreddit user chauzi recently tried to make a more realistic version of a well-known NPC, the jester Cicero. The image features some text that says the neural network struggled to process his photo correctly, so the user used Photoshop to improve on what the AI had already done. The result is a spectacularly realistic version of the eccentric killer.

For those who don’t know, Cicero is a significant part of the Dark Brotherhood questline. Some might see him as one of the most outstanding aspects of the guild, while others will see him as perhaps the most annoying character. Either way, his role is prominent, being the Night Mother’s coffin bearer, and he also has an interesting backstory that apparently explains his descent into madness. Players don’t even need to join the Dark Brotherhood to find him, as they can be spotted on the road to Whiterun, where he asks for help fixing his cart.

While it still looks beautiful to this day, there’s no denying that the game has aged over the years. Fortunately, over such a long time, many have created mods that make Skyrim more realistic, either in terms of visuals or the overall experience. This Reddit user’s more realistic portrayal of Cicero is just one of the many ways fans are looking to improve on the vanilla version of the game, even if the edited image of chauzi isn’t technically a mod that makes the real character look more real. It’s still impressive, all the same.

Given how immersive the world of Skyrim It’s not surprising that it’s still as popular today as it was in 2011. Although the fact that Bethesda continues to re-release updated versions of the game likely explains some of this continued popularity. Fans can only hope that The Elder Scrolls 6 it also enjoys a long lifespan whenever it is finally released.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
