The Echo Show 15 Just Received Its First Discount at Best Buy and Amazon

If you want to update the shoddy billboard in your kitchen, Amazon’s biggest Echo Show is still discounted for the first time at Amazon and Best Buy. The Echo Show 15 launched in December for $249.99, but today the price has dropped to just $199.99 at both retailers. On the surface, the Echo Show 15 looks like an enlarged version of the Echo Show 10 with slimmer bezels. However, the larger 15.6-inch screen allows for some additional functionality that you can’t get with any other Echo Show.

The 1080p touchscreen can display multiple blocks of information simultaneously, splitting the home screen with calendars, weather, news and reminders, among many other useful widgets. While the Echo Show 15 is hardly a replacement for your living room TV, the larger screen also makes watching multiple streaming services or playing a YouTube cooking tutorial in the background a much more enjoyable (and much less compromised) experience. compared to smaller smart devices). show). You can also mount the screen vertically or horizontally on the wall, however if you don’t want to mount it you will need to purchase a stand separately.

Like Samsung’s The Frame TV, the Alexa-powered Echo Show 15 is supposed to emulate the look and feel of a framed work of art on the wall, allowing this technology to sit innocuously on the wall. Widgets might be limited and the smart speaker’s built-in camera might be lacking for a device that costs so much – which contributes to its inconsistent visual identification ability – but still makes for a decent HD TV and a great organizational tool for the home. Amazon Echo Show 15

The Echo Show 15 is a large wall-mounted device that acts as a shared hub for families to view upcoming calendar appointments, virtual notes, and more. The 15.6-inch device also has the same Alexa functionality as other Echo displays and smart speakers.

If you’re looking for a slightly tinier smart display, Amazon’s latest Echo Show 8 is also discounted at Amazon and Best Buy now. Originally available for $129.99, both retailers discounted the compact smart display to $89.99, matching its lowest price to date and making this a good upgrade opportunity.

While the previous Echo Show 8 model featured a 1MP camera, the 2021 version uses a 13MP front-facing camera capable of pan and zoom as well as tracking you around the room. The newer model also offers robust sound and uses an eight-core CPU instead of the four cores present in the previous version, however the external design remains unchanged and the smart speaker still gives you access to the full range of Alexa features. .

If you plan on using your Echo Show 8 for zoom calls or video conferencing, choosing between the high-end model and the second-gen smart speaker is pretty obvious. But even if you’re planning on blinding the camera with the built-in lid, the improved processor is an upgrade that will please almost everyone. Read our review.

On the features front, Beats’ latest exercise-centric headphones deliver quite a bit. While it was nice to see wireless charging appear, the headphones rely on USB-C to complete. That said, we were still pleased with the sound quality and other conveniences of the Apple ecosystem, like support for Apple’s immersive spatial audio feature and hands-free voice commands. Some other standout features include the headphones’ excellent active noise cancellation and fin-tipped design, the latter of which prevents them from bouncing out of your ears during intense workouts.

While the Fit Pros are still compatible with Android devices, their list of Apple-centric features makes them a solid choice if you’re an iPhone user who needs a solid pair of headphones – whether you intend on exercising or not. Read our review.

If you’re looking to catch up on your spring cleaning, the Roborock S7 is an excellent vacuum that’s on sale for just $479.99 on Amazon. This is the lowest price we’ve seen on the robovac at $649.99, and that price will only be available today. While the vacuum and mop combo may lack some of the functionality of the S7 Plus, we still consider it to be one of the best vacuum cleaners you can buy right now.

The S7 still has the same features as the S7 Plus, including programmable cleaning zones, voice activation, and the ability to seamlessly transition from scrubbing wood to vacuuming your carpet. However, the main selling point of the S7 Plus, its self-emptying trash can, is something you won’t find included in the standard S7. However, the auto-emptying station was one of the less impressive features of the vacuum cleaner, as noted in our S7 Plus review, so you’re not missing out on much by opting for the more budget-friendly model.

This multitasking robot cleans and vacuums – and it does both very well. It can even lift the mop to vacuum your rugs without getting them wet. It works with a self-emptying charging cradle (sold separately) and has Alexa, Google and Siri voice control.
